In order to integrate different vehicle systems different types of axles, the suspension system has different structural forms, the key is independent suspension non independent suspension. The characteristics of independent suspension non independent suspension have been introduced in detail in the previous chapter. Because of the characteristics of light truck, the characteristics of comprehensive suspension system its cost, the front suspension of car is designed as McPherson suspension, the rear suspension of plane bearing is car leaf spring suspension system.

McPherson independent suspension is one of the independent suspensions. It is a suspension system composed of shock absorber as drag support hinged with lower operating longitudinal arm. Compared with other suspension systems, thin plane bearing has simple structure, good characteristics, compact layout occupies less indoor space. Therefore, the McPherson suspension system is basically used in the front suspension of diesel engine front wheel drive cars with high indoor space requirements.

The suspension system of this design scheme is diesel engine with external front wheel drive, so McPherson suspension system is selected.
